While the bunk beds were a hit, the squeaky top one could wake a heavy sleeper, which might annoy some families. A personal touch felt missing. there wasn't any real chance to connect with the owners and get a sense of warmth or welcome despite their friendly phone communication. it felt slightly impersonal.
